Navigating an uncertain world authentically
Reskilling to foster creative mindsets
for human flourishing
The art –based program EGAKU, is a powerful approach to reskilling – equipping you with the inner capacities and mindsets to flourish in a changing world.
Reskilling is often framed as the acquisition of new knowledge or skills such as digital skills. However, in a VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) world it is essential to nurture your ability to create your own future – shifting from a knowledge-based learning paradigm to one that supports transformative learning that transforms the mind.
Practicing EGAKU helps you connect to your inner drive and purpose, upgrade your mental operating system and nurture a broad range of human skills to help you flourish through all stages of life.

※1 In Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverence, Angela Duckworth, professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania says that the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent but a focused persistence called grit.
※2 Research carried out by Stanford University psychologist, Carol Dweck, shows that individuals with fixed mindsets struggle to learn from feedback and embrace challenges, and as a result they may plateau early and achieve less than their full potential. However, those with a growth mindset thrive on challenge, embracing them as opportunities for growth and as a result, they reach ever-higher levels of achievement. ※3 EGAKU supports the transformation from a socialized mind to a self-transforming mind as described in Harvard University psychologist, Robert Kegan’s theory of adult development outlined in “The Three Stages of Adult Development.” (Source: Kegan, R., & Lahey, L. EGAKU® Courses
Our EGAKU open sessions are designed to support your regular practice of EGAKU to help you foster the skills and mindsets to help you flourish and navigate a rapidly changing, complex world. If you have experienced EGAKU in one of our programs for schools or organizations, we invite you to experience the personal transformation that occurs through continuing your EGAKU practice at our open sessions.
Throughout the year we provide various themes to guide you on your transformative journey. You can start a course any time, and although you can take the course at your own pace, we recommend creating a regular practice. We suggest beginning with a series of three consecutive sessions, EGAKU BASIC, and then tailoring your practice to suit your personal goals and lifestyle.
